The genesis of the society emanated from feeling of having own roof over their head in Delhi or nearby NCR in the hearts of the officers and staff members of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, who were dreaming of it by forming a Cooperative Society. Accordingly, some officers in BSNL Corporate Office together with some officers in field units of BSNL viz. Ghaziabad Telecom District and Noida Telecom District, sat together and decided to form a Cooperative Housing Society, named SANCHAR NEST SAHAKARI AWAS SAMITI LTD., registered under the UTTAR PRADESH COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT, 1965 UNDER REGN. NO.4302 DATED 22.07.2009
