Prathna Residency is one of the popular residential developments in Gota, neighborhood of Ahmedabad. It is among the completed projects of its Builder. It has lavish yet thoughtfully designed residences. Project is Ready to move since Mar 2013

Pros:
Prathna Buildcon Pvt. Limited or Prathna Builders or Prathna Developers owned by Jagdish Thakkar and his son Dhaval Thakkar in Ahmedabad is a fraud company. The builders are cheaters. We were cheated of Rs.2Lakhs by them. I am fighting battle against them, but this post is only to spread awareness amongst buyers. Please DO NOT book a flat in any of the PRATHNA scheme in Ahmedabad. We booked a 2BHK flat in Prathna Scheme, Gota. At the time of booking, the builders, Jagdish Thakkar and Dhaval Thakkar, spoke of all the good words and quality. They seemed good and professional people. At the time of possession, they came out with their real face and intention. They asked us to pay Rs.2L in Cash, inspite of paying entire flat amount. We had gone for bank loan. So, at the time of possession, our payment record was clean and complete. We payed for GEB, AUDA and other charges. They prepared Flat Registry document and we signed those as well. But at the last moment, they demanded Rs.2L in Cash to get the document notarized from registrar. They even blackmailed us that if we don't pay the amount, they won't resgiter the flat and we will not get the possession. The possession process had come to a halt. Filing a complaint against them as no effect on them. Hence, we had to pay Rs.2L to get flat possession. We sufferred day and night and trying to speed up the proceedings. I don't want other people to suffer like us. The builders are third class people, have bad mouth, have the gundas employed with them, misbehave with their customer/contracters and above all, their flat quality is the worst of all in Ahmedabad. Unfortunately, we are late in knowing this, or else we would not have booked the flat. I now regret booking flat with them. Do not want others to regret too. Hence, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE BUILDERS IF YOU WANT PEACE.
