West Bengal Housing Board was established under Act.XXXII of 1972 with a mission to provide shelter for the people of West Bengal at a reasonable as well as an affordable price.Since functioning from 5th May.1973, the West Bengal Housing Board by its professional efficiency & acumen earned faith both in respect of quality of construction and affordability among the people of State.West Bengal Housing Board, being pioneer in Housing sector, has been constructing dwelling units for more than three decades for different categories of people of the state to meet the increasing demands of dwelling units at a reasonable price.The West Bengal Housing Board has constructed dwelling units on the following mix-up as on 31.03.2012.
