Dr. B. Masthan Rao, chairman and managing director of the BMR Group of Industries, is the major promoter of the prestigious project: Green Acres, Perungudi by Plaza Realties. The BMR Group of Industries was founded way back in 1992 with focus in shrimp culture in a few acres in Iskapalli, a village about 170 km away from Chennai and has grown to become the market leader in manufacturing, supplying and exporting of hatchery feeds, farm feeds and Scampi and Black tiger seeds. Currently, the group owns four Tiger prawn hatcheries and three Scampi hatcheries. The group also owns a Shrimp Naupilli production unit at Visakhapatnam and a Spirulina production unit at Marakanam, Pondichery. The group also has interests in distribution of aerators of AllJet Corporation, Taiwan. Advaita Homes, the real estate arm of BMR Group of Industries has been established to fulfil the dream of providing quality homes that are wallet friendly and harmonious with nature. At present, the focus is on the development of residential projects in Chennai.
